Conquered Mt. Tapyas

Mount Tapyas is one of the mountains in Busuanga, stands about 210 meters above sea level.
One of the developed place in the island and it's a tourist destination. After we settled in our hotel, we had lunch and we climb to Mt. Tapyas.

The counting of the stairs begin. After 100 steps Theomie is panting. She don't wanna go up anymore. So we have to stopped and rest with her.

Bare foot going up....she's tired with her high heels.
See that little boy? He is taking drinks to sell to hikers along the way and to mountain top. Poor boy!

Lovers in Mt. Tapyas.
The place is magnificient. You can see birds and the beauty of the island.

We had another rest in this place and the local boy (vendor) told the story of the mountain. He said it's a sleeping giant.

This is the cross you can see on top.

Sunset in Mt. Tapyas.

After few minutes on top, it starts drizzling. So we decided to go down. And this beutiful rainbow show up.

We agreed to go back there to see the sunrise. Below is one of our sunrise pictures.

Mt. Romelo Hike

My second time to join the AMC group. Vroom to Mt. ROMELO.

I was supposed to bring my(Dobberman) Dog Teri to walk with me but it was pouring rain so I decided to leave him.

Major jump off is in Siniloan. It took us 4 hours to reach the campsite.

Elevation : 300 MASL

And this is the group of AMC as in Ambassador Mountaineering Club.

The camp site.

Below the campsite is the Buruwisan Falls you can descends majestically into a wide, clear catchbasin, veiling an enclave verdant with moss and ferns. We had rapelling here.

The river beautiful river.

Mount Batulao

Beautiful Mountains.

I was excited with my nephews invitation to join them in their hiking. DJ, my nephew had just joined a group called AMC ( Ambassadors Mountaineering Club). Without hesitation, I packed my bag and vroooom to Mt. Batulao. I remember my last mountain climbing was during my college days, that was 14 years ago. Though last November 2009, I had the chance to see the beautiful island of Coron, where we climbed 724 steps of Mt. Tapyas twice. One during sunset and one during sunrise.

It's a wonderful experience being with college guys. I feel like college again. Grateful to the Lord, for making me healthy again. This is my first hike since I was sick too.

Mount Batulao is located in Nasugbu, Batangas. It is 811meters above sea levels.

Taken at the summit with my brother in law, nephew and his friends from 'Ambassador Mountaineering Club'.

A pose at our camp site

Feels good! Made it here.

Singapore

Herbalife EXTRAVAGANZA2010. My first time to join this event and I had a blast. It was surely an extra ordinary event. There were more than 18,000 delegates from Asia Pacific, excluding China. It has been announced that China has thousands of delegates also that they can't accommodate anymore. I was so impressed.
